Material Benefits & Evaluation

• 3D-Printed Night Guard is made from KeySplint Soft Resin by Keystone Industries. It is a dedicated 3D printing resin for night guards, with biocompatibility certification, and is manufactured using DLP printing technology for high precision.
• Temperature responsive mechanical properties: rigid at room temperature to maintain shape stability during storage, yet more pliable at body temperature for easy insertion and removal, a snug fit to the dental arch, and comfortable wear. This property also significantly reduces the risk of brittle fracture over time compared to traditional acrylic resins, which tend to become brittle and prone to cracking after prolonged use due to monomer leaching.
• Shade Selection: Light Violet, Translucent Clear, Translucent
   

Technical Specifications

• The guard thickness is fabricated as prescribed, typically ranging from 1.5 mm to 2.0 mm. In load-bearing areas, particularly over the posterior teeth, the thickness may be increased to 2.5 mm as prescribed.
• The guard is designed based on digital intraoral scan data or a physical impression.
